The Tanner Family has been involved in the building industry since the 1940s. Great Grandpa Thomas Frank Stiles started in business as a home builder, timber merchant and carpenter. He passed on all of his valuable experience to daughter Susanne and her husband Rod and the Tanner family.

Susanne and Rod's daughter Penny, and her daughter Rose-Maree, have rapidly grown with the business and offer the same passion as Susanne and Rod, with that enduring family touch.

Auswest Fencing and Wrought Iron, formerly Tanner Fencing, worked from their home office until they started manufacturing. The family moved to the Willetton workshop in the early 1990's then in May 2005 from Willetton to larger premises in William Street, Beckenham.

The Tanners originally specialised in asbestos boundary fencing but with the enormous shift in the size and design of residential properties, the materials the family have worked with has changed over the generations. Responding to the recent economic climate, the most considerable change has been to the household budget. Thats why we want to provide you with a service and products that you can easily attend to yourself.
